Qatar vs Ecuador Final Scoreline : 0-2

Qatar World Cup 2022 has started with the inaugural match between host Qatar and the South American nation Ecuador at the Al Bayt Stadium. Ecuador started off its campaign with a pretty easy 2-0 win over the host. The match was pretty much one-sided where Ecuador had taken a 2-0 lead in the first half itself.

Qatar’s performance in the first half was rather forgettable as the host could barely take the ball to the opponent’s final 20 yards. In the second half, however, Qatar showed an improved game even though the host failed to score. After the first match, Ecuador sits on top of Group A with a clear three points
