On the field, they might be nemesis but off the field, they sure know how to party. That is exactly what Swedish International Zlatan Ibrahimovich and Argentinian Footballer Lionel Messi did when they came across each other at Italian player Marco Veratti’ birthday bash.
The PSG midfield celebrated his 30th birthday in Paris. At the party, there were many familiar faces including Marco’s former and current teammates including Marquinhos, Messi, Zlatan, Neyman, and Gianluigi Donnarumma. Marco joined Les Parisiens in 2012 and has spent his entire youth playing for the Paris-based club. It would be fair to say, amongst all of his teammates, he is one of the most loved and revered players.
The Italian international celebrated his birth anniversary with all sorts of glitz and glamour, as reported by Football Italia. Off all the people at the party, two heavyweights oozed a different kind of aura, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovich. What’s interesting is the fact that Zlatan and Messi showed such closeness despite being pinned against one another in every statistic possible.

Well, whatever the case may be, the two football legends really amped up the party. And what do you know, another footballing legend Neymar also attended his teammate’s 30th birthday celebration. For the birthday cake, Marco had a huge cake decorated with cute little owls. The party took place in the district of Bercy, east of Paris.
Although Veratti celebrates his birthday on November 5th, the photos from the party became public a couple of days after the event took place.

Well, after this party Marco played one match with PSG before the start of the world cup. Unfortunately for Verratti, he has to watch the World Cup 2022 games from his home as the Italians failed to qualify this year as well.
