Brandon Curry’s Early Life & Family
The 40-year-old bodybuilder was brought up and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. However, Brandon hasn’t shared even a single bit of information regarding his parents or siblings. But, we do know that he belongs to the Jamaican and Caucasian ethnicity.
Curry took to his Instagram, on April 11, 2022, and declared everything about his ancestry.
He said, “I found out yesterday that my great-great grandparents on my dads side are full-blooded Jamaican and Cherokee/Caucasian. I always heard that I had Cherokee blood but had no idea that I was Jamaican and Caucasian. I guess we really do learn something new every day. 💪🏿”

However, he didn’t start competing professionally until 2003. That year, he took part in the light-heavyweight class Supernatural Bodybuilding, and eventually won the competition. Henceforth, Brandon began working on his body physique to appear in amateur shows.

Similarly, at the NPC Junior National Championships, in 2006, he came in second place. A year later, on July 28, 2007, he compete in the heavyweight division at the NPC USA Championships.

Brandon Curry starts his day by drinking some water. Then immediately he goes to the gym, returns home, and has his first meal which includes 350 grams of potatoes, 220 to 200 grams of chicken, and two or three eggs. Then a typical low-end 200g crab.
After his first meal, he takes a nap for a couple of hours. Wakes up, then grabs some chicken and rice, 200-300g. Again he goes for some workout, and in the middle of training, he has salmon/steak and some sweet potato as well.
Overall the bodybuilder eats six meals per day.

Big Ramy Vs Brandon Curry Was Extremely Close: 2021 IFBB Mr. Olympia
Mamdouh “Big Ramy” Elssbiay won the title of 2021 IFBB Mr. Olympia. He won the competition after much discussion among the judges. Big Ramy was able to defend the title from 2019 Mr. Olympia champ and 2nd runner-up Hadi Choopan.
Despite standing toe to toe with the Egyptian bodybuilder, Brandon lost the championship. In fact, Ramy got the lead by just one point. This year in 2022, Brandon says he will beat Big Ramy in the competition. Let’s see what happens.

The previous year, Curry’s muscle mass wasn’t enough to beat Ramy. But this time it looks like he has found out his weakness and plans to look fullery at the Olympia show in Dec 2022. Speaking of this, the former Olympia champ has revealed his motives for the biggest show of 2022. He said,
“Yeah, that’s exactly what we know. We pretty much did, last year, we brought a fuller package that we’re going to compete against Ramy. So, I was substantially heavier than I was the previous year I was on stage, and I can’t remember exactly the details. My coach knows exactly. We just brought it to the stage, it’s a little bit heavy knowing that Ramy was the champ, and you know we had to respect the big man and bring a bigger package.”
Not only that, but Brandon says if he brings his most aesthetic and biggest package to Olympia, the win is all his, and he will be the best Open Men’s competitor in the sport.
Brandon Curry Is A Married Guy: His Wife And Kids
The effort Brandon has shown in his career, the equal he has given priority to his family. To keep it simple, he is still in a marital relationship with his High School sweetheart Brandy Leaver. Initially, Brandon and his wife Brandy started dating in 2000.
According to his wife, they were 17 years old when they first met. On May 9, 2007, Curry and his long-time girlfriend said “I do.” At current, they are parents to four kids.
First daughter Zoey Kalilimoku Curry, the second time a son Maximus Curry, again for the third and fourth time both sons Marvelous Curry, and Zion Curry.
