What is the strength and weakness of the USA soccer team?
It is all pretty clear that team USA has its major strength in the midfield. The MMA trio that consists of Weston McKennie, Yunus Musah, and Tyler Adams has considered one of the best midfield trio’s around the world. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that the three of them can go against many of the world’s best midfielders.
In addition, the full-backs are team USA’s strong points. Both Antonee Robinson and Sergino Dest are a vital part of Berhalter’s strategy. Unfortunately, there is not really depth in this position so it will be difficult if there’s any injury.
As for the weakness in the squad, there seems to be a lack of quality players in the forward position. Haji Wright, Jesus Ferreira, and Josh Sargent, all three of them don’t have many international appearances which becomes a huge issue.
It will be great to see how Team USA will fair against their group competitors.
